Hot day, but fun Had a great turnout, too- hope you all enjoyed it! Preliminary results are below. FYI, the evos were changed from ESP to STU, as SCCA reclassed then to BSP this year but everyone was on street tires so STU gives you all a better PAX in Novice class.

Part of the problem at Pungo is the concrete's so broken, it's hard NOT to break loose if you're driving near the edge. Like coming through the finish line, right about where the last cones were by the finish, the ground dropped about 1" and damned near everyone seemed to break loose and drift whether they intended to or not...
Hahaha, yeah, every time people gawk at me when I tell them my tires only last 15,000 miles, I have to explain the tradeoff between longevity and things like grip and stopping distance, and why nobody puts 60,000 mile all-seasons on sports cars. Then they always walk away looking rather worried. Maybe I should just stay quiet so they can be blissfully ignorant...

Understandable about the Pungo's concrete but I am still not using that as an excuse. I just plain ol suck yesterday but I still had a great time yesterday.
