Madison Motorshow April 23, 2005

What: Madison Motorsports, the James Madison University’s Drivers Club is hosting an on-campus car and bike show.

When: Saturday, April 23, 2005 from 11am-3pm, judging begins at 1:30 pm.

Where: JMU on-campus lot, C4 near the Hillside area. Visit http://web.jmu.edu/parking/map.asp for a map of the campus. Visit http://info.jmu.edu/directions.php for directions to JMU.

Who: The categories include European, Domestic, Import, Classic, and Motorcycles. Motorcycles categories include Sportbikes and Cruisers.

Cost: Only $15 for non-club members, FREE to spectators.

Prizes: Best in Show cash prize! Top 3 winners in each category! Cash prize for 1st place and other valuable prizes for 2nd and 3rd place!

Other Attractions: Look forward to a performance by the JMU Break Dance Club, live DJ, dealership demos, business displays, and many unique and rare cars and bikes.

I doubt I'll go, but if it looks like there's a strong VWvortex crowd going, I'll be there. If it's mostly Honda's, count me out (that's right, Keith )

If I'm not there, would someone PLEASE count how many cars there have Lamborghini doors? I've got a bet going (with myself) that half of the imports in attendence have flip up doors.

 

ive been to their last 2 show and they are pretty decent. there was a pretty good turnout last year, it seems to get bigger every year. Im trying to see if my bro will let me take his 350z, doubt it. this is what wons last years show in best import or best of show (cant remember)

 

is it the same location as last years?

 

I went last year and it was pretty cool. So, I'll be there there again this year.

Yeah, sadly. We ran out of space last year, but we've got a new system, so it shouldn't happen again.

We've also got online registration on the website. Anyone who's interested in coming should go there, so we don't have long lines of people filling up the sheets with their mods.

Also, Qdoba is running a thing after the show, good food.

I've been the past 2 year as well, its a pretty nice show. I still haven't decided if im going to this show or Nopi.
