Can anyone recommend a place in the area that can repair car amplifiers? I have a few places in mind, but would like to know if anyone has dealt with a specific shop. Thanks in advance

its usually the transistors that go, id check those with a multimeter and replace, thats what i did last time my amp blew

 

Yup. I am an old school car audio enthusiast. I almost had a zapco 1500x2 but lost.the bid at the last minute. So a buddy donated a cool old ma audio 1000x4 that is in amazing shape but not sure what's wrong with it. Definetly an amp worth fixing if I get the Rockford fixed its just icing on the cake

 

Yeah, I have zero electrical experience, nor an interest. I would rather pay to get it done right!

i use to work at a car audio shop n there was a place (forgot what it was called) located on S. Military highway. Theres a big orange tire shop next to the fire station on S. Mil. HWY. Its right across from that tire shop.. its inbetween Greenbriar prkwy n indian river. They do quality work also

 

Yeah I was curious if they were still there I used them way back in the day on a sweet digital ppi which are hard to work on and they got it right. Anyone happen to have a number or name?
