Cruisin' Virginia Beach BIKE and car show
yes, I know there was a thread on this, but I started a new one to be able to provide correct information, as I have now, so here we go:
CRUISIN VIRGINIA BEACH AUTO AND MOTORCYCLE SUPERSHOW
SATURDAY, APRIL 26TH, 2008
10:00am to 4:00pm from 6th street to 33rd street.
motorcycles will be at the south end of the beach (by Rudee Inlet)
SPECIAL GUEST JIM CARUSSO FROM XTREME KREATIONS!!
MOTORCYCLE CLASSES WILL BE:
-SPORTBIKE
-RAT BIKE (my fav )
-ANTIQUE
-TRIKE
-CUSTOM
-SPORTSTER
-TOURING
-CHOPPER
registration can be done the day of the show, advance registration is preferred (just so we can get an idea of how many bikes will be attending)
advance registration deadline is APRIL 22nd.
Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each class
plus a trophy for "BEST IN SHOW" and "PEOPLE'S CHOICE"
CASH PRIZES!
For the auto & motorcycle show: $200 per division, Best in Show
For the Burnout Competition: ½ the total amount collected in registration fees
Participants in the Cruisin’ Virginia Beach Auto & Motorcycle Super Show receive t-shirts, dash plaques, valuable coupons for area attractions, and door prizes.
The event is free for spectators
The controlled burnout competition-
always a crowd-pleaser, will be held Saturday at 5:30pm at the municipal parking lot at 18th Street and Arctic Avenue at the oceanfront.
(DIRECTLY across the street from my house, lol)
Motorcycles will be allowed in the burnout competition, but will PROBABLY be required to put your front wheel against a barricade wall.
winner recieves 1/2 of the total of all registration fees for the competition
REGISTRATION FOR THE BURNOUT COMP IS AT 5PM
Event schedule
7:30am-10:00am, Registration, vehicles enter the boardwalk
10:00am-4:00pm, Show hours
4:00pm, Awards and remove vehicles from the boardwalk
5:00pm-5:30pm, Registration/check-in for the Burnout Competition
5:30pm-8:00pm, Burnout Competition at the 18th Street municipal lot
Judging for each division will be conducted separately. Awards will be distributed at each division’s location.

Please NOTE THAT VEHICLES ENTER THE BOARDWALK FROM 7:30AM-10:00AM ONLY on the day of the event.
VEHICLES ENTERING AFTER 10:00AM WILL BE SENT TO A SEPARATE OVERFLOW AREA.
Make note of the entry points listed below by each division. Select the division for your vehicle entry:

_____F-Bodies – Enter the Boardwalk at 14th Street
_____Mopars/AMC – Enter the Boardwalk at 20th Street
_____Miscellaneous/Streets Rods & Customs – Enter the Boardwalk at 24th Street
_____VW’s/Imports – Enter the Boardwalk at 27th Street
_____Fords – Enter the Boardwalk at 33rd Street
Participants will receive goodie bags that contain dash plaques and event T-shirts.
Only those participants submitting advance registration forms by the deadline (April 22) are eligible to indicate preferred T-shirt size.
Event registration fees
For the auto & motorcycle show: $25.00 in advance per car or truck / $30.00 day of show
$20.00 in advance per motorcycle / $25.00 day of show
For the Burnout Competition: $10.00 per entry for car show participants (who are REGISTERED for the auto show) / $25.00 for non-participating car show entries
ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE ALSO ASKED TO BRING 2 CANS OF FOOD TO DONATE TO THE FOOD BANK OF SOUTHEASTERN VIRGINIA ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT!
THERE IS NO RAIN DATE FOR THIS EVENT. Should the event be cancelled BY BEACHEVENTS due to inclement weather, refunds will be issued to all participants.

i wanna do a burn out competition in my car..... I prob sign up just for that... need some junk tires and wheels..... with my little wheelbase i can make little circles like a bike.. lol... and make mad smokes.... top down + no hands= i win

lol, awesome, bring it, i'd like to see that. i'll be across the street on the 2nd floor drinkin a beer and watching, haha.
i don't think i can enter the burnout comp b/c i'm working at the show, or i'd smoke the chop until the rim was throwing sparks, and push it the couple hundred feet to my house, lol.
