headlight cleaning?

Default headlight cleaning?

Is that guy still around that cleans headlights? I have some yellowing going and Im not sure what to use.

It's not that hard to do, takes maybe about 2 hours get a pack of sandpaper with like 800 1500 and 2000 grit papers (variety pack) some buffing compound a polishing compound and a good wax there are a ton of DIY's for it...

Before wetsanding and all of that, try using some mothers mag and aluminum polish and a rag. You can get it at pepboys and will only take 5 minutes. Does a real good job of clearing the yellow off.

Has anyone tried wetsanding and then painting a clearcoat over the top of the lenses?

alot of times its from the heat of the bulb it melts the plastic from the inside ///// just like a carbon fiber hood turns yellow from the resien

try some metal polish wenol works VERY well

i got a kit that relaminates them
takes about 15-20 min to do
