"T3/T4E - 48/50 a/r's; c wheel 57 trim T3 wheel clipped - $545.00 (pic)"

Where did you see $475?

A .48 A/R turbine housing is definately too small for your V6, I would go with at least a .82 A/R.

If I were in your place, I'd go with a straight T4. The compressor map for a 60-1 wheel matches up perfectly for your displacement and 10 psi. For the turbine side, a .58 A/R with an O trim wheel would be a great fit.

The 57 trim wheel doesn't start to get efficient until about 15psi.

The one I'm buying isn't listed for some reason, but the guy emailed me and said he had it. I'm going by opinions of others with probes who have done a lot of research based on our engine..etc. I've been doing a lot of talking to people and research and calculations. .82 would take forever to spool! A friend of mine runs a .68 and .50 compressor and makes just under 300 whp, which is in the top 3 highest of all 2nd gen Probe gt's. His does not get full boost until 4500 rpm, and I'd like it to spool quicker and be more responsive for the street, and I'm not trying to eek out every last horsepower on this. Also, I'm running a max of like 7-8 psi...we'll see. Thanks for the input though, I'll look it over and check it all out.

my low compression (7.8:1) 2 liter spools a .63 just fine.
i thought your motor had a fairly high compression ratio...it seems to me that a .48 (even a .63) would spool so quickly that you'd be dealing with some serious compressor surge....but if it works, i guess i can't argue with it..
