Default have a ?

I have a 97 civic dx and it has no tach on it and I was wondering if I could just change the gauge faces for a new one with a tach already on it or should I just buy a five inch tach with shift light I need to know thanks

get a 12" tach and put it on the hood so everyone can see it and then paint it purple and put an apc sticker on it. sorry but for cars that already have tachs and arent fast enough to need a 5" i see no use for them. if you have a built engine that may rev harder than the stock tach than ok, but otherwise, i dont like em.

Go with the EX cluster or even an SI. If you want a seperate tach, they make 3 1/8" tach and maybe even smaller, you don't have to get the monster.

You will need the entire cluster. You cannot just swap the faces. There are plenty of write-ups about this on the Honda/Acura tech boards.

swap it for the Si cluster. and if you get a sep. tach, DON'T MOUNT IT LIKE THE RICERS DO unless you got the HP to back it.

here's my bro's tach in his civic - it's really discrete unless you stare into the car.
