obd2 ls vtec

I have an obd2 b18 i want to do ls vtec... i know i need a b16 vtec head, but which ones will work and stay obd2?

Well, common sense would say.........an obd2??? That, and B16 isn't your only option. Any B series vtec head will work.

you can use a GS-R B16, Type R head, the b16 head is not your only option.

So what years are obd2 for the b series vtec heads? I don't want to buy the wrong one.

96-98 are OBD2A and 99-01 are OBD2B. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

The head doesn't matter, it's what other parts get bolted on to it (like distributor, etc) that determine whether it's OBD1 or OBD2. You can actually use any OBD1 or OBD2 head and other parts and the worst you'd have to do is change some minor wiring depending on what engine and ECU harness you have.
