Default Rebuilding my transmission

I have already taken apart my transmission and found the source of the problem. The input shaft bearing had taken a shit. No problem, so I pull it out and now i am trying to find somewhere to buy the new one? Is the input shaft bearing the same on a b series trani, and d series? I know the b series bearing is 30.00 some dollars at acura. The d series bearing is almost 100. So i am trying to find a good place to get a good deal?

thanks

No they are not interchangeable. I pretty sure you can only buy those at the dealer.

you can swap cases, but good luck if you have no trani experience. You have to completely take apart and reasemble in the new casing. gives me chills thinking about it.

it can be done though, see i am only replacing a bearing, so it takes me like 15 mins to get all the crap off to get to the bearing. All the stuff that gets taken off goes back on the same exact way. All i need to do is torque all the bolts and seal the case back up. When you swap all the guts from one trani to another (i think you have to mess with backlash issues and setting stuff the propper way) atleast this is what i have come to hear.

AXIOM should carry that bearing seperate. If you are in Norfolk, they are located off Engleside.
