Pics of my car....
I don't participate much on this forum but read it from time to time. My project is almost done so I figured I'd post some pics. (I should be out to that car show at best buy in NPN this upcoming saturday)
Just a little bit of polishing on on the exhaust.
Mods include:
L67 SC 3800 swap from a '01 GTP
Spec Stage III clutch
Getrag Speed Trans
3.4" Modular SC Pulley
255LPH Fuel pump
Reprom by FastFieros removing Passkey, EVAP, EGR, and adjusting fuel curve
Ported SC intake, and half assed ported exhaust
Custom 1 1/2" tubular exhaust headers
I'm waiting for some custom fuel rails so I can install a IC and a CAM. Both of these will also allow me to run a smaller SC pulley without running into knock retard.
The setup I have now should put me around 300 hp and 350 ftlbs, thats on the 9-10 psi of boost. When I finish installing the other stuff, should be running 14-15psi with about 400hp-450 ftlbs. But alas, only the dyno will tell...

They sure can.... V-8's are more of a novelty than anything else. GM doesn't really make any strong FWD trans so super high torque motors generally are for show. Every once in a while theres someone who races them. 450ftlbs is generally the cap for torque that any trans will be able to take repeatedly.

And this one is gorgeous, the guy doing it is trying to do the europe rally gumball type thing.
