Speedo and Odometer not working
I just got a 94 ex coupe and the speedometer and odometer are the only things on the car that do not work. I started looking around some forums and all i could find is to check for corrosion, get a new VSS, check my fuse box, or look for some wires under my intake to see if they had been rubbed bare. If anyone knows the exact problem please help me out so i dont spend useless money.

its not your alternator has nuting to do with it .speed sensor sounds like it is un plug from the tranny or bad connection . plug it in . behind the intake mani in between the firewall and block on back side of tranny if i remember right. plug with two wires...good luck

Make sure to remove it when no one is around, would be really embarassing to see a loose nut hanging out...... not to mention... disgusting...

Re: Speedo and Odometer not working
Youve named every possible issue that could be wrong with your speedo and odometer... Start checking.. we can't do that part for you. I had the same issue on a 95 dx, did everything and finally changed the cluster out to a newer one and it worked! Luckily I needed one with a Tach anyways so it worked out for me eventually. But like said, grab a manual, and start checking each of the problems you listed and go from there.
