Default location help

i need to tune my ems. looking for empty ass deserted road with no kids, runners, cops, etc.

i'm in centreville, so closer the better it'll be...

i basically need to do some 2nd or 3rd gear 20-80mph runs...making frequent stops on the side of the road...

thanks.

you know that Performance Autosport has a dyno, right?

would be easier (read: less likely to get a ticket) wouldnt it?

nope....not really...if you know some places, you can, but not really. there is some more enforcement going on lately then used to...

125/hr is what PAS charges for dyno time, and that includes AF

What EMS are you tuning it with? A/F gauge? EGT?

Head westward into the mountains and you should find plenty of rural roads w/ nobody on them to do your tuning. As long as you are not on a U.S. Highway, a State Highway, or a heavily traveled side road doing this police coverage is going to be completely random. Or, another option is to wait until the weekend and enter a large empty industrial park that does not have any residential houses surrounding it during the night time and does not have trucks rolling in and out of there. Find an empty road in there that is long enough for you to do what you think you need to do.

But you probably should use a dyno to have it done if you got the money to do so.

why do you have to stop? cant you just get someone else to tune as you're driving?

i know my friend tuned his buddy's turbo civic (S-AFC so less complicated) while they were on their way here from college
