No military personnel that is collecting BAH!!!! are they seriously craking down on this.......Why? BAH is your housing allowance....you should be able to have 20 roomates if you wanted. Must be the NAVY!! I guess we in the coast guard have it different. I know guys in key west that have 3/4 military members living in one house on the beach. Crazy......

 

tell me about it. That was one of the first things i was asked by my LPO and chief when i checked into my new command. I also think its because i'm only an E-4 w/ no dependent, so BAH is still just a priviledge i guess. After E-5... probably a different story.

 

everybody at my command thinks im dealing drugs and that i should go under investagation cuz i have a house and my car and im an E-4 with no BAH... i just tell them its asian magic and not to worry about it.

My last command that i just left came out and straight up asked me if i was dealing/transporting drugs. cause my last 3 months there i was dropping special request chits just about every weekend or notifying them that i will be out of state. From Miami, Cali, DC, NJ, and NY. All of which when i came back i had a new car (two new cars with in 3months, simply cause i was bored) bought a town house that costed more that my Divo's house and supporting my other expensive hobby (saltwater tanks). So i feel yah on that.

It doesn't matter if they are collecting BAH. They are cracking down on people that are using a different zip codes. They won't take your BAH cause you get a roommate that is getting money to live on as well...

damn... Navy is fucked up, if we live off base we get BAH no matter what and we can have as many roomates as we want, unless we are overseas then we only get what we spend. AIR FORCE FTW again!...
