Default LS/Vtec Questions! (More and more)

I am going LS/Vtec... Type R head of course...Now for prepping the block and everything else to run the setup right...What do I need to do? Thanks :-P

Ok got the block already I asume & the VTEC Head.
Now you need, JDM Type R pistons and ROds, Vtec oil pump,Vtec water pump, LS or aftermarket head gasket, LS timing belt, Type R
or skunk2 intake manifold, Type R 0r Mugen ECU, Apexi VTEC controller, and I think thats it.

Not the way I would really do it but for sure the cheap and easy way...

Ok pwrvtec, what is your suggestion? I got the money to do whatever I want with it, but I have the LS so I am going to build that. Later on I will get a bigger engine. :-D By then K-series hehe.

By the way this will be a boost prepped ls/vtec as much psi as I can.

your incorrect on a few things...type R rods will not fit with the ls crank. also, if your using a vtec water pump then you need a vtec timing belt, which is suggested.
