Default E85 now in Wytheville, Va?

I periodically keep checking for when e85 might be available in Roanoke and came across a sheetz offering it in Wytheville now?

Still an Hour and half from my house but it's only like 20 minutes from the local track.....

Maybe this isn't new news at all, after reading the DSM community new about this awhile ago. Anyone know the max that they will let you pump? I'd much rather run this than 93oct, just need to factor in larger dual fuel pumps and the rest of my fuel system.

If only Sheetz in Salem/Roanoke would do the same...

Okay, pardon my ignorance, but what's the hype with E85?

Well, you have to use more fuel to achieve the same amount of horsepower, so larger injectors/fuel pump setup, and you also have to convert your lines and make sure your injectors can handle the denatured ethanol, but.... It definitely deals with/controls knock and det really well, which allows for more boost and power with a good tune.

E-85 is equivalent to 104 octane, if I'm not mistaken.

I guess everyone missed it when I mentioned that station in off-topic a few months back! Its frustrating because if I'm not mistaken, there is a e85 trucking hub in Salem, yet nobody carries it.

Aaahhhh dammit. Wish the Sheetz here in Salem would carry it. I could use it on the regular.

So salem is setup for it, but they don't sell it? I don't understand you'd think there would be a bigger push to the pumps considering all the flexfuel cars being made.
