That track has always been shit. I had the worst experience there one day. Only time I've ever had an awd car, and seen multiple others, try to do donuts on me off the line. Don't know how we missed the tree.

I agree, shit track... I know a lot of guys that race motorcycles on it and I think they're fucking crazy. I was a little freaked out driving the CAR down the track there.
Pretty fun event though. I've been 3 years, but haven't been in a while.

Piedmont for some reason has good and bad days. I think they prep it based on the event held that day. With AWD I'm in 2nd before the 60' and I spin like crazy. The car won't straighten up until 3rd.
DCR's fastest at Piedmont is a 6.8 IIRC on a street car and 4.8's with the drag car.
I wasn't aware that they had their open house last weekend, I'm less than 10 minutes away from the shop.
