i just hooked up a external msd coil with the cap and on high rpms the car bogs out, thinking the 14 guage wire from the distributor is to small, ran out of ideas, if anyone could help thanks

Re: msd problems
Just out of curioustiy. What car is this, and other mods.
Also, was it doing this before adding the coil?
Did you hook up a 6al, or one like it, box? Or just a external coil? Maybe the coil is bad.
I need a little more info. before I can help you.

its a gsr, turbo, fuel pump, fuel rail, exhaust, it was not doin this with the stock coil, and its the just external coil, im gonna try thicker wire tomorrow, just wanted to see if that would be the problem

IMO, I'd use the stock setup.

BTW, I'm not being a ass about it. I understand you have your fair share of work done to your car.

Re: msd problems
the car felt like it was misfiring with the stock setup, so i figured i needed better spark, it runs smoother in low rpms but when i got on it, it felt like it would cut out, so thats why im thinkin the wires from the distributor is too small
