tranny/clutch problem grinding
I have an 89 240sx with a 93 KA in it. It has a pretty new stage 3 from clutch masters. The tranny has had a grind in 3rd for a while. Recently i feel a grinding almost whining sound when i depress the clutch right around the friction point, it doesn't sound anything like when a gear is grinding it is much fainter and you can feel it in the clutch pedal. If i had to guess i would say it is the TOB, but i am not sure. What are your opinions.

Re: tranny/clutch
I agree that the first thought would be your throw out bearing, as I had a similar sound in my Z before my clutch went. There are two other possibilities I belive and that is a damaged clutch disc and a damaged pilot bearing.
