Default any VW experts?

i have a 90 corrado g60
i just put a new engine and gcharger in
hooked everything up where it was on the old engine
it starts up and sounds like its running on 2 cylinders
then slowly dies every time

what could this be?
the timing is correct
i have new plugs injectors and fuel rail
i check spark on all clylinders and its gettin fuel to all also

also when it is running i try to give it throttle and it does nothing
hellllp

It's getting spark, getting fuel, you've checked timing.. have you checked vacuum?

all the lines are hooked up i havent check to see if any are bad really

if anyones interested ill pay for someone to come and get this running for me

did you check fuel pressure ??? vw are good for the fuel pumps locking up from sitting[ rust ]are all the ground wires on. all the boost tubes on

its getting fuel.. read what i posted jebus..
and yes all the plumbing is hooked up

starts up.. runs like its on 2 cylinders then slowly dies down until it shuts off completely

Spark plug wires are not miss matched...i know yea gay..but it happens.

start it up and hose down the motor with brake clean.... thatll find vac leaks for you. otherwise i dunno. vdubs are alien technology anyhow.

did you check fuel pressure with a guage???? or you crossed a spark plug wire

a weak fuel pump would certainly do it.... you know an oil pressure guage willwork {in a pinch}

you should do a compresion test on all four cylanders to see if any of them are messed up becuase often times when you buy a used vw engine the best thing to do is to get all new piston rings and seals and do a ocmpresion test hope it helps
