Cars broken in to at the ampitheater last night...
So I went to the Kenny Chesney concert at the ampitheater last night and while the concert was going on at least 10 cars were broken in to and one stolen. They stole mainly GPS's and purses. The bike cops were riding through the parking lot and spooked them while they were in my car so luckily they didn't make off with my GPS and more importantly, my handgun... they got the $3 I had in the change tray though lol. They must be really good at what they do because there was no evidence of tampering with my car; it was just sitting there with the doors un locked when I walked up on it. The cops got plate numbers off one of the cars that they drove off in but they don't match the car...

Wow. Sounds like it was a well thought out plan. Good to hear nothing of yours got stolen, especially your gun.
A little rant -- See, thats what I dont understand about people (not saying you). This false sense of security that "Since its in my car, and my doors are locked, robbers wont be able to get it" or "I have a $1,000,000.00 car alarm, Robbers wouldnt dare!"
When will people understand that if you leave something in plain view that a thief wants ... HE WILL GET IT.
But then again, I guess it takes a thief to know how a thief works.... or common fucking sense.

I completely agree. That is one reason I generally leave my Jeep unlocked (I don't leave my handgun in it), I would rather them just get in and steal the cd player instead of knifing the $400 soft top I just put on it. If I am in a "bad" part of town or somewhere I know there has been a lot of break in's recently (Ghent) I will pull it and the mount off the windshield and put it under my seat but I truthfully didn't even think about it. I guess I just figured that out of the 5,000 cars that were parked there that it was unlikey some would be robber would walk past mine lol. My wifes purse was in the trunk which they did not get either.

Wow they were that hard up to steal change
I hate anyone who steals!!! Its a good thing they didnt take your gun....
I was at Crewfest and had a bad experience. They kicked me out for no reason. I was buying 3 drinks at a time 2 for my friends and they cut me off[they guy thought they were all for me]. I tried walking across the sidewalk to the the other vender and they made me leave
