What up everyopne i have a dilema, io am abou to purchase a dc2 teg in good condtion but the only thing holding me back is that it has no title or registration, what should i do, should i wait for the owner to get an abandonment title or should i buy the car and a shell and swap everything over piece by piece? I really want this car and any help or advice would be great.

I ran the vin everything came out clear the car is not stolen i have a buddy that knows the guy that used to own it

I'm not too sure, but if everything checks out clean, can't you file for a lost title/registration at the DMV?

Yea that's what the previous owner is supposed to be doing now I was just wondering if there was a quicker way or if anyone had a similar problem and had an idea of how long it would take to process the title.
