Hey guys, I got an ej6 four door.. and it's got a tan interior, and I HATE tan. any suggestions on how to change the interior color to black so I can put my red recaros in without it looking weird? anything will help I heard of people painting .. but idk how that'll look and if it'll peel and stuff. Thanks for the help! Also I don't wanna spend a lot f money doing it but I want it to look nice.

Re: Interior color change
I'm saying without swapping panels I'm not retarded, I'm saying like dying it or something like what's the best thing to use. If I wanted to swap the panels I would go to the junk yard...

Re: Interior color change
Just spray bomb it with cheap walmart spray paint like all the other JDM guys do.

Only thing i have ever dyed was carpet. Even that fades after a while. Just swap interior. Save yourself the headache later when u realize it looks like shit.

Re: Interior color change
If it's vinyl or plastic you can try SEM or DuPont vinyl dye, which is basically a specially formulated paint. If you do, make sure that you get all of the proper prep products that go along with it. I'm not really a big fan of vinyl dye for color changes because it will show the original color underneath if it gets scratched or damaged obviously, so getting an OEM black interior would really be the only worthwhile option. Black carpet is easy to find (OEM or aftermarket), so that's the easy part of the color change process. There's really no reason to ever dye a Honda carpet.
