need help with massive oil leak (b16)
I recently replaced the head gasket, timing belt, water pump, and tensioner. Shortly after I started the car, I noticed oil leaking under the car..a lot of it..within 5 minutes almost all my oil was drianed..I quickly turned the car off, and havent had time to diagnose the problem. Before any work was done, there wearnt any major leaks or issues and it ran fine. I dont know where to start..any help would greatly be apprecited..thanks in advance

So you left the engine running for 5 minutes with a massive oil leak? Very intelligent.
Have you looked around to see where the oil is coming from? It's going to be something simple. Oil doesn't just pour out of properly assembled or properly maintained engines for no reason..

"Forget to tighten the oil filter? or put the drain plug back in? What kind of work was done to the b16 before this oil leak? " pretty much what i was about to say. trace the oil back obviously you see the oil and all

Are u 100% sure you installed the gasket correctly? Where exactly was the oil coming from? The bottom of the car, or was it by the back bottom of the head between the block.

Start off by checking the drian plug making sure its snug n tight whichever and make sure its just not sitting there stripped.... Then start by taking off oil filter inspect it making sure its the correct one and the o ring on the filter is stil on it n there isnt an old o ring from the old filter stuck on it leaving you with two o rings....Once you ve done that clean and what i mean by clean is spray the bottom of oil pan and bottom of engine with brake parts cleaner or engine degreaser (Safiest method) engine degreaser cleaning all the old residue left on there to give you a clean slate to start with... Fill engine to correct capacity of oil needed ..... lay a peice of card board underneath start vehicle for a few seconds until u get some drippage and see where u get so far,.,.....
