I'm am looking for recommendations on a good automotive machine shop in the Hampton Roads area to do some head work on my Subaru heads (shave, clean up, valve job, etc.).

I've gotten mixed opinions about Apples, but I don't know anything about any others and I'm trying to explore my options.

But, I don't want to know who has a friend that works at some place, I want to know from people who have had actual work done with good results. I don't want to have to tear my motor apart again(those gaskets and head bolts get pricey). If anybody has any recommendations, I'm all ears.

Don't quote me on this place but I've heard they specialize in DSM's or Mitsubishi's, Direct Performance in Va Beach.. Now I've never had work done there so I don't honestly know how well they work or if they even do cylinder head jobs there, but calling them would never hurt bro.

virginia speed down at the beach does some great work they;ll talk u throuhg everything there gonna do help u figure out exactly wat u want to do and they just do quality work on anything from muscle to imports i havent had work done there but ve had friends who have there number is757-468-5101
