I just bought a 91 eagle talon turbo. this makes my third 1g dsm. but this is my first one that is turbo. it has not run for thre years but as soon as i put a new ecu in it and jumped it off it bumped over three times and then started. it idles a little rough but it is in great shape.
there is only one question i have for dsm'ers out there.
if i keep the rpm's up enough to keep an even "0" boost pressure everything is fine, but if i let my foot off of the accelerator, and i get negative or vacum pressure, the check engine lights comes on and it dosnt want to stay running. but if i give it even a little bit of gas to get another even "0" then the check engine light goes away and everything is fine.
Please offer help if you can i have to make a 3.5 hour drive back to yorktown tommarrow.

I had a car that did the same thing. I figured it was just a torn vacuum line somewhere that I couldn't find.
I hooked up a cable that kept the throttle cable at a certain point...say throttle position at 5% instead of 0% when you take your foot off. That kept mine from dieing. Not sure if just upping the idle would have the same effect or not.
