Price: $1700 obo?
Description: Selling my 1989 Honda CRX Si. I bought this car last year, it had a lot of problems then, still has a bunch of issues. I really don't have time anymore. It has 267k miles. The car runs, but it needs some work. I'm asking $1700 Obo, this price will go up as stuff is slowly fixed. This would make a great project car.
The car seems to be pretty stock, besides some cheap cold air intake that is placed in a rubber coupling. I have a stock intake box from a 1989 honda civic si in hatch. Just haven't installed.
The good:
Rare Y-49 si color
lowered on adjustable coils
Has exhaust tip, decent sounding lol
Also tow hook on back
Recently changed battery
Headlights
Radiator hoses
New fuzes
Timing belt tightened down by mechanics on Ft. Eustis.
The bad:
-Inspection sticker expired
-Needs Cv joint
-Needs a valve cover gasket
-a/c doesn't work
-Battery mount missing
-Small crack in windshield
-Windshield rubber stripping coming off
-Car has a small leak in hatch during heavy rain
-Radiator fan not working, so car does get hot after running for a long period of time, or idle too long.
-Hood release broken but able to open/close
-Radio doesn't work, but Aux does
-No seatbelt connect on passenger side
-Driver side window off track.
-2 small panels missing from bottom trim
-panel near driver door came off. I have still
Overall minor fixes..
Located in Ft. Eustis / Lee Hall area of Newport News.
