i jsut bought a muffler. And want 2.25in piping from the catback...mandrel bent. But i went to big als the other day for an est, and they told me there isnt a mandrel bender in VA. I know theres gotta be a place. where!? do they mandrel bend and w/ good quality.

it costs money to buy the mandrel bends then weld them together as needed.

stop bitching or go get your name brand exhaust. they're not gonna whore the labor it takes to make a custom exhaust. if you asked for a custom exhaust where mandrel bends are not used, it woulda been cheaper. and probably flowed just as well. you dont need a mandrel bent setup for a beginner 4 cylinder setup.


so call millennium back, ask for 2.5 crush bent. when it gets bent, it goes down to 2.25. i know cuz i've measured.

big als on mercury did mine, bent the mandrel and everything, 2.25 pipe, all for 125$

 

i dont think you grasp the idea of gettin custom exhaust......cheaper but same performace as brand name. same Im not going to settle for some garbage crush bent. y not just wield the muffler on to stock piping on then.
