sadly enough i need help washing my car.
ok so i finally moved to florida and i sold my car before i left and i picked a 91 ef sedan here. now the problem is that the car had been sitting for about a year in his parents back yard under trees.
my question is how the hell do i get off a years worth of pollen, dirt, rain and general grime? there has to be a product that makes it easy. the grime is mainly on all of the glass and roof. i washed it 3 times in the front yard so far, used bathroom mildew remover and fucking bleach and its still there. now when i actually put elbow grease into it the shit comes off the roof but this is florida and its hot as shit so scrubbing is not fun. anyone know a product i can use?

There are a lot of bug/tar/sap remover products that come in aerosol cans. Stoner makes a decent one that's pretty easy to find. Give it a once over with that, and then wash that off with standard car wash soap. Then wax, because it will be pretty damn stripped of all wax at that point. Tree sap sucks.

a pressure washer will remove a lot of it...spray it down with purple power and wash it...whatever is left over your going to have to put some elbow grease into it..

thanks for all of the input. i just ended up scraping all of the glass with a razor and im going to try the purple power tomorrow then what fab said after that. im going to try the "$50 paint job" that i saw on honda-tech in a few weeks but for now i want it to look at least half decent. if you have never heard of the 50 dollar paint job.-------- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceiwy...eature=related

dude in all seriousness, "hot rim cleaner" works wonders it cuts right though the nasty shit, and i worked at a car wash, i have dealt with a lot of cleaners and a ton of dirty cars.
