This is a great car, no doubt, and handles incredible. But to clarify, this doesn't have huge potential. If you dont like the boxter as it is, then you should probably go for a different car. This machine isn't really built for huge power or speed, its for handling. Thats why its really difficult to boost it, or do "big engine swaps" like you say. Yes, you can mod the handling and make it even more crazy, but as far as power goes, you can't do much with it unless you spend huge bucks. Just lettin ya know.

Again, bump for a great entry level Porsche!

Thanks for the bump Heiss M3...DO a little more research....6speedonline.com perhaps...everyone loves boxsters for the handling yes..but for power they swap in the 996 tt motor all the time!! Thanks for the interest

Yes, but do some more research and find out how pricey that is; like i said, big bucks...

Trust me, I work at the Porsche dealership here in my city...any of that stuff can be done, but it is really pricey. We do everything here, even custom work, but lets face it...most of the clientèle on here aren't going to buy that car for its power 'capabilities' like the other guy stated....you'd be much better off with something else.

But anyways, back on topic, good luck with the sale! looks great!
