Default New Frankenstein motor

This guy put an h22 head on an f22(nonvtec) bock

the f22 is the nonvtec sohc version on the 4th gen honda prelude S...comes with 140 hp to the crank

i read that, i think its a waste, shoulda just put the h23 bottom end.

dude, thats an old thread, but its a pretty cool swap though
justin- the h23 would cost more, that guy only spent like 300 on the block.
btw the new frankenstein swap is actually the k20 head on the k24 block

yeah it is,

yes it did only cost 300 bucs but he also only put 140 at the crank? i put more to the wheels than that,

i dont think the k20 is gonna fit in our cars 4th gen lude/ accord

yeah the new frank swap is for the new honda/acura vehicle, i think the f22 bottom or the h23 bottom are both a waste, should just get an h22 or f20. just my .02

Keep thinking that doggie....i always thought u could boost more on a stock h23, but i have heard as of recent higher boostage on h22's
