has a y8 in it. it only does it once in a while usually if you cut the car off and turn in back on it will be fine for a while. tried diff map sensor...not really shure what else to look at. i kno its a sensor or computer any one that can help thanks

 

Ive heard that when your car goes into limp mode this happens.... so something is going on

 

I am guessing there are no CEL, right? I would suggest getting a can of circuit board cleaner something similar then disconnect and spray the connectors on the wiring harness. By doing so it would it gives you chance to inspect the sensors and harness for anything abnormal and remove anything from the pins. Pay special attention to the MAF sensor. I drove a maxima that the MAF sensor would vibrate enough that it would start choking at 4k. At any rate, you have nothing to loose and it would only help.
