My new DD

My new DD
So, the old Jeep lost compression on 2 cylinders and thus is not a great DD. I had been wanting a new car for awhile and couldn't really decide on what I want. I wanted a FRS or BRZ, but since I am a bigger guy (6'3" and not small by any means) I didn't fit comfortably in the car. The sales person at the dealer said why not take a tC out for a spin. I fell in love with it when I test drove one, and bought mine a few weeks later.
Only regret is not being able to wait a little longer until after the Toyota release saying they were killing the Scion brand, but I needed a car and it was in my price range, so what can you do?
It's a 2015 Scion tC, 6 speed manual, in Blue Streak Metallic (awesome color and was definitely a selling point for me). The color is absolutely amazing, especially in the sun and when she's clean!
Let me know what you think

Re: My new DD
Oddly enough they don't offer the TRD supercharger for the 2012 and up. I'm not 100% site, but I believe they put a different motor in the tC after 2012, and never offered the supercharger. But, that would be awesome haha.
I can't believe Toyota is killing Scion, and more over killing the tC specifically (all other models will be continued as Toyotas), but it is what it is.

Re: My new DD
i thought they just used the 1.8 from the celica gts instead of the 2.4 camry engine?
anyway.. the styling is cool. would you say its roomy enough for a family of 3?
are those wheels still 5x100?

Re: My new DD
It's a 2.5 from the Camry, VVTi, 180 hp.
It's definetly a roomy vehicle, I'm 6'3 and not tiny by any means and I'm very comfortable in it. It looks small on the outside, but it's very spacious on the inside.
They're 5x114.3 (or so says Google anyway).
