DESCRIPTION: I'm considering selling my Z if I can get enough to make it worth my while. We have a kid on the way and I'd like to get something big enough for all 3 of us to ride. It's an original turbo 1986 with the digital dash. This car has the least rust of any Z31 I've ever seen, in fact, I've yet to really find any. I have a bunch of maintenance records from the original owner, the original window sticker, and some other paperwork that came with the car. As for the upgrades, I have a build thread, but I'll try to list them here, I may or may not forget something.
Engine
- 9:1 compression block, unopened
- Stock T3 with Hallman MBC @ 10psi
- 450cc DSM Injectors
- Modified 3000GT Fuel Rails
- AEM Adjustable FPR
- AN lines to fuel rail with fuel pressure gauge
- Z32 MAF in billet MAF housing
- CM Performance 3" turbo back exhaust with high flow Cat (also will include a test pipe that can be swapped in)
- Intercooled
- TIAL Q blow off valve
- ASCO plenum spacer
- PRW-2 mod
- Running on Nistune (will include license)
Transmission/Driveline
- Stock T5 with Redline MT-90 gear oil
- Ebay short shifter for a Mustang
- ACT clutch (unknown model #, but the lowest rated ACT clutch for the Z holds 410ft/lbs so it's good to go)
- Stainless braided damper bypass
- ASCO poly diff mount
Suspension/Brakes/Wheels
- Poly everywhere except RLCAs
- 88T front suspension (strut tubes, LCAs, tension rods, hubs)
- Bilstein shocks and struts
- ST (Suspension Techniques) springs all around
- Stance bump steer spacers
- Stainless braided brake lines
- Wilwood Superlite front calipers on custom brackets with 12.75" 350Z Track rotors
- 03 Cobra wheels with Sumitomo HTR Z III tires (235/45ZR-17 front, 275/40ZR-17 rear, all in great shape)
Interior
- Red interior mostly swapped for black. Only red left really is on the ceiling
- Z32 seats
- Momo steering wheel on Momo hub (may end up keeping the wheel if the car sells, though the hub would be included and a usable wheel installed)
- Zeitronix ZT-2 LCD panel custom mounted in radio location to monitor boost and AFR
- 350Z Nismo floor mats
It's great car, lots of fun to drive. As you'll see in the pictures, it's not wonderful cosmetically but I've seen worse, it needs a little body work and a good paint job. The worst of it is a dent in the rear quarter next to one of the tail lights, but it's definitely fixable. Other than that it's just the expected dents and dings a 25+ year old car has. You'll also see that the driver side fender is primered. This is because the stock fender was badly dented. If desired, I have a fender off of another car that's the same color that I can provide. I also have a set of 87+ RLCAs that can go with the car. I got them for it but haven't gotten around to installing them. It dyno'd not long ago at 245hp and 295lb/ft of torque. This was a conservative run with stock timing and a street tune. With the supporting mods already installed, along with a bigger turbo and some dyno time, it could be deep into the 300hp range. I should also mention it doesn't have AC. Couldn't get it to fit along with the intercooler piping. The condenser and most of the lines are still there, and I can provide a compressor and brackets if the new owner would like to try to install it. It has a couple of little driving quirks which can be discussed with a serious buyer. Feel free to ask questions.

Re: 1986 300ZX Turbo - lowered, ready for bigger turbo
Forgot to post the dyno sheet. Also have a video of it on the dyno.
This is pretty conservative power. It's on stock timing and 10psi of boost. It's also a street tune. Getting it to a tuner and cranking the boost a bit could put it close to 300hp as it sits.

Bump, I'll consider trades, make an offer if you're interested.

Weren't you selling a 5.3 SBC before? Was that the aluminum block one out of the Escapade or whatever? Still have it?

Oh, and if any of you Z32 guys know someone with a 5 speed 2+2 that might want to trade, I'd be interested. Not a fan of 2+2 Z31s, but the Z32 looks fine.
