Default Honda Civic question?

Hey guys,

I just bought a 2008 honda civic si. My question is, is it normal that when I turn off my car that only the driver's door unlocks...not the other doors? It is a little inconvenient that when I have passengers in the car that I have to unlock the rest of the doors...

Is this normal? or maybe a glitch that needs to get fixed?

Thanks in advance!
-Joe

I am sure that in my 09 SI when I stop and turn off the car just the drivers side door unlocks. I seem to remember that I have to hit the unlock for anyone else that is in my car with me at the time of cutting the car off.

I will make sure this afternoon.

It's normal. Same behavior on several late model vehicles.

I finally remembered to check the unlocking of the door when the car is turned off. With my 09 SI all 4 doors will unlock as long as no one touches the locks. If someone unlocks the passengers door then only that door will unlock.

So, short answer all doors unlock after the car is turned off.
