Honda swap questions
Ok im gettin a 95 LS put into my 99 Honda Civic ex. (I was told it was a 97 obd2, but he was wrong when he couldnt hook up the crank angle sensor) Anyways. I pretty much need to go from obd2 to obd1 correct? Becuase more then likely im just going to finish the swap my self, because i dont have faith in the guy doing it now. What all would i need?
1. obd2 to obd1 conversion harness
what else?

Re: Honda swap questions
i think you could use an obd2 distributor & injectors, re-wire for the crank angle sensor and you should be golden.
the motor itself isn't any different, just the acoutrements.

Re: Honda swap questions
Are you staying with the OBD2 computer for one? If you are using the OBD1Call Rywire ( Ryan) , He has the jumper harness for the ECU and for the Dist so there is no repining or spliceing. I have used so many of them. Another questin is this a AUTO or Manual swap. I have a 00 Civic thats a auto that im trying to find out if a AUTO LS wsap with fit, I was told NO by one person.

Re: Honda swap questions
Thats going to be a pain in the ass, you should just get the OBD1 ECU and Dist and order the harnesses. its all plug and play. Im not sure if you can do it on the B series but I know on the D series that you can take the oil pump , pick up tube and oil pan off the OBD2 and place it on the OBD1 in order to use the stock Crank sensor.
