I've compiled all the relevant HPDE/track day schedules that I know of (and are currently availible) here to make them easier to find.

I'm trying to find a good post on getting started in HPDE for anyone who is interested - I don't think I am qualified to author one having done two track events; if anyone knows a good thread/article on the subject, I'll link it in the OP.

All you have to do is sign up and go!
Make sure your car isn't a complete POS and change your oil, brake fluid, and have a good amount of pad material.
Bring lots of warm clothes, listen to your instructor, and have fun.
Another good group to include is Tarheel Sports Car Club/ Triangle Z Club. Alot of Nissan guys run with them and they have some cheap time trial events also.
