damn this is tough.
I love the camaro.
The z06 really has a nice setup though
well at least a domestic will make it to the 3rd round.

I just told Nick the same thing, this was a hell of a match up here, tough to decide on this one .... but I did go with the camaro .... I still think RacinJasons Grandsport should of been part of this tourney .... I love that car.

Yes, the Vette is very nice and very well done as I voted for it in the last round. Figured I would transfer the info from the other poll over to here with a little more detail.
For those who don't know the car, it is '94 Camaro that has a 396 LT4 that puts down ~430rwhp. The car is primarily set up for road course, though it has been to the strip a few times years ago and ran high 11s on street tires (when putting down 400rwhp). The car has run in the One Lap of America and many events at tracks like VIR, Summit Point, Nelsons Ledges, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Road America, IRP, Memphis, Texas World, and many others.
Modifications
Exterior: '96 Corvette Grand Sport paint scheme, Harwood hood
Interior: 6pt roll bar with SFI padding, Sparco Pro 2000 racing seat, '97+ Camaro center consol, removed rear seats, 6pt racing harness, pillar gage pod
Engine: 4 bolt main Vette block bored .030 over, Eagle forged stroker crank, ProMod 6" rods, custom JE forged pistons, GM 847 cam, self ported LT4 heads with Manley valves and Comp springs, Comp 1.6 roller rockers, Comp R lifters, chrome moly pushrods, ported LT4 intake, 36# injectors, Walboro intank pump, 58mm tb, Moroso CAI, Hooker 1-3/4" long tube headers, Mufflex 4" exhaust system, BeCool radiator, Canton road race oil pan, oil cooler
Drivetrain: Upgraded T56 transmission, B&M shifter, Spec clutch and aluminum flywheel, aluminum driveshaft, Torsen T2R diff, AM aluiminum cooler diff cover, Moser axles
Suspension and Brakes: Ground Control adjustable coil overs, Koni single adjustable shocks, 1LE front lower control arms, poly bushings, Strano hollow 35mm front bar, 1LE 21mm rear bar, Global West rear control arms and adjustable pan hard bar, LG torque arm, sub-frame connectors, Baer/Alcon 4 piston front brakes w/ 13" rotors, front brake ducts w/ custom aluminum spindle ducts
Wheels: Grand Sport 17X9.5 fronts and 17X11 rears for the street, 17X11 all around for the track
And for extra style points here is the event that pushed me to do the GS theme on the car. How many of the rest of these cars have actually flown?

Damned work filters. If I could've been able to see the flying Camaro I would've voted for it.
