just turbo'd now got problems need help asap!
alright so i just got done turboing my integra and now im having problems. ive got a 94 integra with an ls engine, im running a pr4 chipped on chrome. i started the car and ran it for a bit but the problems started from there, my idle is bouncing from 1000rpms to 2500rpms, my oil pressure is bouncing between 75 and 50 and my vaccum is jumping between 10-20, any suggestions, oh and when i slow down just before i stop i get a belt squeal. any help would be appreciated

Sounds like you've got a air pocket in the cooling system. That will cause the idle surge you're getting. Burp the cooling system better, that could help. Whenever the idle goes up and down the oil pressure/vacuum will fluctuate accordingly. So either you've got an air pocket or your IACV is going/gone.

yea it does sound like the IACV is going bad. Sometimes cleaning them helps. worth a try

if you screwed around with your intake manifold at all a vacuum leak there will cause the same problem as well.

I had a massive leak between the head and intake manifold caused by a piece of gasket that caused those exact symptoms

The oil pressure and vacuum fluctuations are usually just products of the change in engine RPM.
You should get your ECU tuned for your particular setup, I hope you're not using a tune from someone other car... Even minor differences between one car and another are too much risk when you have a turbo setup.

alright i fixed the vaccum leak it was the intake mani gasket...now ive got my boost gauge hooked up to my fpr im reading vaccum but not boost pressure, now i read on alot of other sites to run it there, but ive also heard that i have to run it between the turbo and the intake mani somewhere to read boost, that seems logical. i dont have a spot on my compressor housing to run it or i would whats another option?
