The National Auto Sport Association and Grassroots Motorsports Magazine have opened discussions with ND2RA, the National Diagnostic Drag Racing Association, to explore a combining of marketing resources. "NASA is a personification of real grassroots motorsports competition and ND2RA offers members an opportunity to quantify gains in the modification of their cars", said Chris Cobetto, Director of NASA's Virginia Chapter. Tim Suddard, Publisher of Grassroots Motorsports Magazine, added that, "True verifiable knowledge is the key to the success of all high performance engine modifications and one of the safest and most cost-effective ways to achieve that is on an eddy-current dyno". "Look for an announcement, very shortly, about how we intend to kick off this new partnership", said Michael Kilgore, Director of ND2RA. "We have over 150 Mustang diagnostic dynos, currently, in shops throughout the country", said Michael Caldwell of Mustang Dynamometers, "and linking them, using our new software, through the internet, via ND2RA allows us to bring safe and analytical comparative motorsports competition and diagnostics to thousands of, normally weather-dependent, motorsports enthusiasts nationwide". "The Dyno Shop provides a facility to local drag, circle track and road racers who need to safely and conveniently test both their race or street vehicles and the value-added potential of this new agreement makes us very excited about the future", concluded George Van Guilder, owner of The Dyno Shop. ND2RA, headquarted in Hampton Virginia, may be reached at 757-825-2266.
