Default Need Help with Mustang please

My friend needs help... he did his own SVO head swap on his 97 stang and it will turn over but it won't start. Spark is good and fuel is good as far as I know. Pulled one plug out and it had a nice little blue arc. And he had a tire stem looking thing on his fuel rail and it spit out fuel..... Any ideas at all? Kinda way out of our leauge.. oh yah it won't push start either.

Tire stem thing is just like a tire gauge only for a fuel pressure gauge. That should not be spitting fuel unless he has lines crossed up or in the freak accident that all 8 injectors are clogged and can not spit the fuel into the cylinders.

i think he ment he pressed it in and had fuel pressure and if the injectors didnt fire it is a return system and would just return back to the tank

Last time I checked, mustangs were never flat heads

Are the heads he put on the DOHC heads?

i'm with him . . if you got fuel and fire has to be something in the timing . .
timing marks not lined up or something . .

thats what i was thinking....but if something wasnt aligned properly id think there wouldve been some piston to valve issues....are all the sensors hooked back up? cam sensors, crank trigger, etc?
