Is 300whp in an eclipse do-able?
Hi, I recently bought a 1999 Gst with 63k on it. It's completely bone stock. I was wondering if I could make 300whp reliably with only bolt-ons. I don't plan on getting cams or cam gears so those can't be counted. I read up on dsmtuners.com that it's possible, but not likely. I am getting a 16g for the turbo, but from there, I don't know what I need to reach my goal. Any suggestion/comments would be great. Thanks.

ok...........1g Intake Manifold with 60mm throttle body, 2 1/2 Hard intercooler piping, FMIC, 550cc Injectors, 3in GM MAF, MAF Translator, ported 2g manifold, either ported stock or 2.5in 02 housing, Full 2 3/4 or 3in Exhaust(your choice), 3in or 4in Intake Tube with Filter, MBC or Electronic, AFPR, and a really good tune on 93 or cam2..................if theres more somebody else will fill it in...........

Guess a durango would have been wiser.....besides, most 99's didn't crankwalk and if you keep maintenance up, then it will be reliable....

OK, why a maf translator? I heard 550cc are a waste because on high boost they run almost 100% duty cycle. Also, the manifold is useless without porting the runners on the head correct? Is a fuel pump not necessary?
