aaaaaaand.... aparently my bike didn't like it, cuz the lil fucker crapped it's charging system on the way back from p-town this afternoon.
damnit.
now in the process of machining what i need to retro-fit a "normal" style permanent magnet rotor/stator to my old bike.
pics to follow. ya'll bout to see some serious "make shit fit where it was never supposed to fit"

Re: denied....
I think you confused the bike...it didn't know what to do!!!
Good luck mang, I know you'll get it.
Hell, got my bike swingin' from the rafters right now as we speak...am I ever gonna finish?? My bike is perfectly legal...tags, plates, insurance...but it don't go no where. Your's goes everywhere, but the legalities are questionable!!!

Re: denied....
i've seen your wiring Q.... thanks but... no thanks.
j/k
i got all the parts on the way, i just have to machine an adapter plate to use a kawi stator on my yamaha motor , pair it up with a yamaha atv rotor, attach it to my suzuki regulator/rectifier, on my yamaha that's registered as a suzuki (cuz it's got a suzuki neck and vin), then i can ride it again on my harley front end and wheels.
lol. damn mutt bikes... when will i learn.....
the good part is that after my "conversion" i can ditch the battery and run it straight off the alternator. that's less weight... go faster

Re: denied....
mine's fine. got a rotor i'm "borrowing" until i get the parts in hand to do my fancy magneto swap and end any future electrical problems.
i got some pinstriping done on my tank too:
courtesy of Igor, the sick ass striper. that took him MAYBE 20 minutes. i'm impressed. it's even dead nuts centered on the tank. all done freehand. dude's got skills.
