correct me if im wrong, but if you buy a "coated piston" it shouldnt be wearing off eventually. wouldnt that defeat the purpose of the coating? ebay=

You do know that when boring a cylinder...you are suppose to bore it to match the piston that you are using that cylinder. You can not just "bore" a block out to 81.5mm and expect the every 81.5mm piston out there to fit. It doesn't work that way.
You need to take these "new" pistons and your block to a machine shop and have the cylinders bored to match each piston.

Yep, take them to the machine shop and get them both measured. This should be easy to sort out. You shouldn't have got the block bored until you actually had the pistons in your hands anyway.
