Here's some basic info on what you're talking about... If the clear finish on the hood is just oxidized, it can be sanded and clearcoated. If the clear finish is UV damaged or cloudy throughout, there isn't much you can do. If the clear finish has turned amber, there isn't much you can do. The holes can be filled, but they'll never look the same as the rest of the hood because it isn't possible to match the weave or the resin color usually, so you'll be left with holes that don't match. Best case you can have them filled with something black, or have them filled and have that spot painted over. You could get creative and have that part of the hood painted, and part of it clearcoated so you can see some of the carbon. That can tend to look really tacky unless it's done tastefully.

Or, you can have the entire hood painted the same color as the car.

The minor problem is that you probably have the hood because of the way it looks, not because of the weight. Therefore, if you paint it you're getting rid of most of the reason you probably bought it.

well I actually got the hood coz the weight and the vents. i really dont care of how it looks. I was actually thinking on painting the hood electron blue like the car or just black. not can spray paint. and i figure the holes could be filled and might not look perfect but neither obvious. i just dont have the resources nor knowledge to do it.

so here i am, crying! lol. and I know i keep leaving small details but important details away. my bad!

Well, if you're fine with painting it, nothing is any different than any other paint work. The holes can be filled and will look like they were never there, because filling them is the same as any other body work if everything is getting painted over. So everything's easy.

You could probably leave the vents bare carbon and have the rest painted, but that could look funny depending on the type of vents and the overall look of the rest of the car.
