Default Helmet Advice

So, I'm buying a helmet for passengers because my first helmet wont fit most others (as I have a big ass head xxl). So, normal head sized people. I've been thinking about buying a Medium, but was told to just go for a large. Any advice from the veterans?

Unless you plan on buying them a jacket, boots, gloves, and pants as well... don't bother...

If you don't agree please, at least advise you're passengers to find other means of transportation.

^.

I already feel bad about having my girl ride with only gloves, jacket and helmet.
