DC Tour
Terry Baker and myself are signed up to run STS (19/119).
Y'all should sign up to get some killer experience and awesome courses. If you think you have seen some fast guys around here locally, wait 'till you see some of the top National guys ripping it.
See y'all out there!

Re: DC Tour
Speaking of Terry.... I overheard some news about him having some medical issues lately. Something about major surgery.... Anyone know the details for sure please let me know privately. I don't really want to spread things around about someone unless it is known to be true.
Thanks....
Thanks....

Re: DC Tour
I'm out now
I started to add up the expence with no codriver and no roommate its going to be about $500. I've spent a little to much on the car in the last few weeks.
I am about ready to buy a house and I really need to get my priorities realigned
Good luck to all!!!!!!

Re: DC Tour
speaking of which, you said Honda's contigency money is $1000 for first. On SCCA's site it says $150 for a ProSolo class win, and doesn't even have the National events up there (could be b/c they just changed the site). but anyways, $150 is far from $1000. where did you get/hear that number?

Re: DC Tour
The $1000 (which is now 1500) contingency money is for the National Class title or PRO Solo overall class title.
Here is what ou were looking at I guess http://www.scca.org/Solo/Index.asp?I...eference=honda
There is also $ to be had from Kumho, Hoosier and others.....

Re: DC Tour
I'll be there in my STX WRX, blue paint, black wheels, aluminum magnetics. Anyone know if there are any site sound regulations? I don't think my car's as loud as others running last year, but I'd like to make sure I have my ducks in a row before the event. Plus, I have access to a decibel meter to find out how loud it is, while I'm still down here at school. (Music Engineer friends rock!)

$500 for National Championship (Topeka) 1st place finish.
When you told me, I thought you meant every National Tour event was $1000. oh well. If i decide to do it, Hoosier's plan offers 2 tires for a National/ProSolo win, and 4 tires for a ProSolo points/National Championship win.

Re: DC Tour
I may have said that the money was for the Tour as well. I found out like a week after I put the stickers on my car. As soon as I wash it they will be coming off. I just havent had any time.
