Default Need a very small cut+weld job done in Tyson's area

Sup everyone. I'm looking for someone to help me out with modifying a bracket on my moped's exhaust. Let me know/move this if it's in the wrong place.

Nobody sells an exhaust that's an exact fit for my Puch Korado. I purchased one of the few made to fit an angled exhaust port so that I could achieve the closest fit possible. Currently, the exhaust bracket is ~1 inch too far foward to reach the moped's bracket; they're joined by a couple zip ties. The first zip tie broke and I'm worried about damaging the exhaust's attachment to the cylinder without a proper bracket. I'm also looking to eliminate a possible source of air/exhaust leaks.

I'm hoping someone near to me could cut off the bracket and weld it further back on the exhaust. I am located near McLean Bible Church on rt.7 and would prefer to find someone within mopeding distance (Tyson's, McLean, Vienna, possibly Falls Church) so I don't need to borrow my mom's car and make it smell like 2-stroke for a month.

I've been to the shops on Tyco and Spring Hill Rd (like NTB, Foreign Service, Intersport, the Exxon service center) quite a few times over the years, both with past 50cc's and my VW. They always seem busy and unwilling to help me out with small things like this. I'd really like to find a trustworthy, skilled, local mechanic/shop that could do things out of the norm for fair prices. It really sucks having no welder friend, no power tools, and no car buddy more knowledgeable than myself.

I'm willing to compensate with some cash, maybe 30 or 40 bucks? I'd offer beer if I were old enough to buy some. Also, I'll probably have more stuff to do like this in the future. PM me, let me know what's up, thanks.

You could try Great Falls Auto Service off of Walker Road but honestly most shops aren't going to want to do this because its a small and inconvenient job that's not really worth their labor time.

You could also call the Auto Tech department at Marshall High School. They would probably be more willing to do something like this.
