Yep, it's that time of year again. This year we will be running every wednesday (weather permitting) from May 1st - Sept 11th, including July 3rd. Official Rules for 2013 are posted herehttp://langley-speedway.com/rules/20...sday_Rules.pdf and are subject to change and updating.

From qualifying last night, nearly every class is running .5-.6sec faster than last year. The pavement did great and I believe the Wacky Wednesday lap time record will fall this year .

Okay guys, here are the proposed changes to the show for this year. The aim is to get more people in the stands by making the show better for them while having more runs for the drivers(top dog last year were getting about 3-4 a night).
Copied and pasted directly from the drivers group on Facebook.
Time Attacks are unchanged with the exception of the fastest lady will win $25 each night.
Burnouts:
...
3rd Wednesdays with 4th Wednesdays for a rain date.
4 person panel picks the winner-3 Langley Staff + Time Attack winner, no fan vote. The best burn out may actually win!
$100 up to the cars, $150 for 4 or more cars
One on Ones:
No more sweet 16 or Street Class
One group as before. With A &B mains
You pick your own races and stagger throughout the night. (trial basis)
If that doesn't seem to work, staff will pick your races and stagger.
NO By-Runs
If a race has no clear cut winner that race will be re run.
Rookies will run at the end of the 1st round and are encouraged to race other rookies. A rookie has less than 2 nights of racing experience.
A MAIN Winners get $100.00 + Plaque
B MAIN Winners get $75.00
