Default 2000civic si tire size?

basically tryin to see what size tires i could run.

i hate thin sidewall's i love a meaty looking tire.

i have 15" rots slipstreams. and would like a wide/thick tire to fit under it.

right now the tires rub there 195/50?/15. but im going to raise the car up some and also possibly get the fenders rolled

You can get 225/50s under there if you do it right.

Where are the 195s rubbing? That seems a little odd.

on the outside edge

where the fender well is. almost where the fender/bumper meet.

the car is just way too low. which will be fixed when i put the tires on

I've actually got 195/60/15 on my 2001 Civic. No rubbing at all. But then again, I'm not dumped because I'd be scraping the hell out of my bumper everywhere I went if I did that.

Well, I've got a BuddyClub2 front end on my car and it sits much lower than the stock bumper did. Luckily I've got coilovers so I was able to raise it up a bit to clear speed bumps, etc, but now I've got some pretty ugly gap. May lower it a few threads to clear it up a bit. I'm going to have the same issue once I get my sideskirts and rear bumper installed. Ugh.
