Default speed shop for fuel injection

Hey how ya'll doin?

I've been ghosting around this awesome forum recently but just now joined. While I drive a Civic daily around school for the practicality (it's about 300 miles from the 757 to Virginia Tech), my post pertains to my true love, my 1979 Monte Carlo. I'm completely redoing it, with paint, interior, and of course sprucing up under the hood, before I graduate. I'm about to drop a new engine in it and currently considering the fuel injected route for the reliability. Do ya'll know of any shops in the area that would be able to install all the components needed to transform it from a carb set up to a fuel injected one? I can get the engine and drop it in myself, but if you know of one that will do the entire job as well as install the computer, sensors, and wiring, that'd be great. Thanks for any recommendations you can provide.

I put this in my caprice

www.dynamicefi.com

EBL, you can do damn near anything you want.

Im going from a TBI to a MPFI setup (TPI for my 358)

Prolly the only person youll meet with a Laptop tuning a Big Caprice Wagon

Ls1 is a good idea, but is costly

with this setup you can run low buck stuff and have it injected like a cheap 383 or somthing

you can run 2 TBIs if you want, or go MPFI, can run Boost, nitrous all kinds of stuff.

I'm not too knowledgable about the GM ECMs, does that EBL board replace the entire ECM or just some part of it? I don't see any I/O connectors to connect to the external engine harnessing..

It might be alot of work for you now that I think about it,

Since youll need the harness that goes onto the ECM,

Its a chip thats embeeded onto the orignal ECM to allow for flashable tunes to be loaded to a Non Flashabel ECM (such as the one Im using)

Unless you have a vehicle that oringaly had that ecm it wont work to well unless you have your mind set on it.

Try Mega Squirt, thats a nice stand alone unit for fuel injection

Might be more of what you want.

EdelBrock and Painless Performance both make conversion kits by the way, with an ECM and harness, sensors, everything. Not cheap, but badass. They happen to use the ECMs that my company makes, so I'm partial to them.

Hey thanks for all the advice. I had considered conversion kits, but since I'm going to drop in a new engine anyways (still deciding on which to go with), I figure I might as well make it a Fuel Injected one. I just want a shop to hook up all the peripherals since I don't have the time or familiarity to tackle that tedious process. Now that I've been looking at FI crate 350's and I know buying crates online can be sketchy, I was wondering if ya'll know of any local, reputable shops that could help me out with that as well. Thanks again for your expertise.
